The Church of God is an International ministry that reaches into several countries of the world. We are a Bible believing church that accepts the whole Bible as the Word of God. We believe in its inerrancy and are committed to following its precepts to the best of our ability. When a person becomes a member of The Church of God they take the following covenant:
“Will you sincerely promise in the presence of God and these witnesses that you will accept this Bible as the Word of God - believe and practice its teachings rightly divided - the New Testament as your rule of faith and practice, government and discipline, and walk in the light to the best of your knowledge and ability.”
It is the church’s objective to walk humbly before God seeking God’s directive in everything we do, conforming not to the way of the world but continually striving for a greater understanding of the Word of God and submitting to it.
In a constantly changing world where morals and religious beliefs are caving to what is considered the societal norms of the day, The Church of God is committed to contending for the faith that was once delivered to the saints. It was the Apostle Paul who said, “For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God” and we stand with him.
In a day when anything seems to put a person on the road to heaven, The Church of God still preaches that there is only one way to heaven and that is Jesus Christ. In this day when being a Christian demands no standards, The Church of God continues to preach that God’s standard is holiness.
