The CPMA program is a marking program in The Church of God which was designed to tell the story of Christ, His church and His mission in these last days. This program is not without scriptural precedent or support from the Word of God.
Throughout both the Old and New Testaments we see included in God’s design for reaching the world with His message, a plan for marking prominent places and events.
In the Old Testament God gave instructions for marking places such as Bethel and Gilgal. These markers told the story of God’s greatness. The temple itself which was designed by God was also a marker that spoke to the glory and greatness of God.
In the New testament Jesus left instructions for ordinances such as baptism and communion which help tell the story of God’s plan for the ages. The Christian life itself is a testimony and marker that reveals more about God and His plan for this world.
Hab 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
God’s people have been called to write the vision and make it plain for others to see in these last days and the CPMA department works to help accomplish this.
